Are there guidlines, or available information on the use of Diesel FLT's within production areas? Specifically concern as to the fumes generated.

I have a copy of HSG6 which discusses combustion engines, whether diesel or other.
It discuss ventilation, maintenance of engines, use of exhaust filters etc. Is states that petrol and LPG are particularly hazardous and should not be used in confined spaces.
HSG6 is available from HSE books Tel: 01787 881165.
In my opinion, I would rather see electric trucks in production areas, and we do not allow diesel trucks to be in production areas during production times.

WE ALSO HAVE FORKLIFT TRUCKS IN OUR FACTORY BUT ARE LPG PEOPLE DO COMPLAIN ABOUT THEM BUT THEY ARE STILL USED INSIDE THE FACTORY WITH NO CLEAN AIR SYSTEM INSTALLED IN THE FACTORY

Is not LPG more hazardous than diesel?
It might be more environmentally friendly, but I'm sure I remember looking into this some years ago and discovering that diesel is the least toxic of the three, as far as human physiology is concerned, tho' diesel is higher in particulates
