What Safety legislation (i.e Coshh) is applicable to a business (hairdressers) where fewer than 5 people are employed? Regards Darren

The simple answer is that you have to comply with all applicable requirements. The majority of occupational safety and health legislation applies, but there are some requirements, such as the need to put risk assessments into writing and have a written safety policy, which do not apply if there are less than five employees.
