I am trying to find out information on how to deal with bird droppings. I am aware that they contain various diseases which can be harmful to humans but I need some information on how to handle them and dispose of them. Are them classed as special waste? Is there any recommended PPE? Should they be damped down before moving or is it better to move them dry? This is the sort of information I would appreciate advise on.
Thanks in advance
Ian

If your talking about accumulations in roof spaces etc. I suggest you consider a specialist company, which is what we do. I understand the dust in particularly is quite unpleasant, and pigeons are notoriously diseased.

Try your local (district) council - via environmental health (who may pass you on to the "cleansing" team).
