I am undertaking a project about legionnaires disease, can any body suggest where I could acquire a copy of a standard risk assessment and method statement regarding this subject.

I use Ashland UK - Drew Industrial Division for testing and servicing our cooling towers and water systems.
If you tell them it's an educational study you're doing they may be able to help.

Peter,
You need the Approved COde of Practice to COntrolling the risk from Legionella Bacteria. It is a supplement to the COSHH and Management Regs and available from HSE books.
It covers everything you need to know.
