Posted By Mr. Safety I am interested in information on how employers are addressing this issue. There are differences depending on the country the employer resides in. Firstly how Canadian employers deal with it, but how other countries do so would be interesting as well. Aspects such as policies, procedures and the issue of Drug Testing. Thanks very much.

Posted By Mark Preston Start with a search of the archives of the HSCanada list http://www.ccohs.ca/hscanada/hscanada.html then search out the list archive and discussion board of the SIRI site at the University of Vermont (lots of Canadian list members) http://siri.uvm.edu/

Posted By Eric Burt Check out the website www.drugscope.org.uk It will give you all the latest information about drugs in Britain. The organisation advises the Governments Home Affairs Select Committee so it seems they are well respected. I have found the information very useful in drafting a drug policy. I have also found an organisation called Hampton Knight very useful (www.hamptonknight.co.uk) They can help with all aspects from drafting a policy to drug testing / screening Eric
