Posted By Laurie My Construction Division regularly takes delivery of 6 m lengths of timber, and quantities of plaster and plasterboard. The plasterboard, in particular, is stored on a mezzanine floor and has to be carried up a flight of steps, with a bend. I have told them that they must provide mechanical assistance, but am told there is nothing which will take that length of timber, and nothing that will hoist plasterboard, with limited headroom, without damaging it. I do not believe this, but to avoid going through a shedload of catologues, can anyone give me a steer? Sales departments are welcome to e-mail me direct Thanks Laurie

Posted By Jim Walker Laurie, We shift plasterboard size materials (usually on constructions sites) with equipment from genie lift. see http://www.genielift.com/index.html. I can recommend the equipment - we give it a rough time, but have equipment still running after ten years.
