Hi there,

I am looking to purchase an effective Health and Safety package that will provide a thourough overview of the subject as well as some templates to work with. I have looked at stuff from Croner's but am interested to know if anyone could recommend other similar types of packages.

Any advice would be much appreciated

Thanks

Joe

Joe,

I purchased the 'Training through communication H&S series from BESS Ltd.

Tel 01226 716101
BBIC
SNYDALE ROAD
CUDWORTH BARNSLEY
S72 8RP

I cannot comment on the package in practice but it is comprehensive covering around 15 topics for employees and managers depending which package you buy.

If you need further details please e-mail direct.

Regards

Andrew.

We use two, our own for the templated letters, forms and assessments as part of our provided insured service. We also use training and management development material from a company called TBDGlobalLtd who provide distance learning health and Safety materials for managers. Some courses are accredited with ILM for those who need them.
They can be contacted via their website on www.tbdglobal.com and on 0870 241 3998.

I regularly use the Jordans Health & Safety Management book and CD rom, purchased through the British Safety Council. Most of the forms can be opened and adapted with MS Word.

on both cost and excellence I would recommend Jordans health and safety, which you get in both loose leaf and CD. A really good docuument.

I personally find Croner very expensive and not quite as good as they (croner) would have you belive.
