Dear, All.
I am looking for some assistance on the training requirements for fitters to undertake fitting on non-domestic gas pipe installations.
Specifically, pipes up to 150mm external diameter feeding gas to boilers in factories/industry.
Any assistance or direction would be most appreciated.
Stuart

Stuart,
It's a while since I was directly involved in Gas Services work in the UK.
Apart from the CORGI site that you have already been referred to, se also:
The HSE Web Home Page and go to A-Z search then click on G for Gas, Lots of links and information here.
Be aware that all the Gas and Gas Safety Regulations in the UK are currently under review and there are significant change proposals in the line, some will affect Training of persons performing Gas Fitting work.
Look also at the following sites which represent the Mechanical, Electrical and Service provision and installation industries in the UK, again lots of information, guidance and comment here.
The Heating and Ventialating Contractors Association:
www.hvca.org.uk
The Building Services Research and Information Association:
www.bsria.co.uk
Hope this helps.
regards.
