Posted By Charles New I understand that you can get tax relief for asbestos removal, as part of the Govt urban regneration scheme. Apparently tax relief can be obtained for companies incurring expenditure on land remediation, including buildings. There was an article in ARCA News,(winter 2002/2003 issue no 39), about it. The article was written by Clive Curd of NBW Crosher & James, who is a member of the RICS Asbestos Working Committee. It may be worth your while phoning RICS, or ARCA (Tel:01283 531126) for a back copy of their magazine. I hope this helps
