Taken from another thread (Fear of contracting industrial diseases).

In Ireland moves are a foot to ban smoking in all pubs, restaurants and workplaces.

(Irish)Health Minister Micheal Martin is expected to announce the news later today (30.01.03)at the launch of a report highlighting the effects of passive smoking in the workplace.

Has anybody any thoughts on this? Will/Should it ever happen in England?
