You could try the following publications;
The Building Regulations: Approved Document B: Fire Safety
BS 476 Fire Tests on building materials and structures
BS 5588 Fire Precautions in the design, construction and use of buildings
LPC Design Guide for the fire protection of buildings Rules for the construction and installation of fire break doors and shutters
FPDG14 Fire Doors and Shutters

That should keep you going for a bit!
