Clarification required: -
We rent a building from a private landlord – Within our tenancy we agreed to uphold the internal maintenance of the building, which includes the roof.
Yet our landlord is liable for the upkeep of the structure
Who does the duty of care fall on in respect to CAWR ?

Dear Tony,
The regulations apply to both of you! However, as you have control of the day to day-to-day maintainance and upkeep, as well as undertaking normal business processes and activities you will have do most if not all of the work to comply with the regulations.
