Posted By Bill Elliott John - bifocals would never do - one would have to crank ones head at such an un-natural angle to view the screen that this would likely INCREASE the risk of injury. If your operator routinely wears bifocals, it is likely that the lower lens focal length would not be the same as the focal length required for VDU work anyway. A separate "basic" pair of specs is the answer I feel.

Posted By Ian Mycroft I would agree with Bill one of our employees was using vari-focals and had problems with neck ache (a real pain in the neck). I provided him with single vision and the problem went away.
