Posted By Stephen J W Clegg. I have been asked as a School Governor to look at the H+S issues within our church. Are places of worship still exempt from legislation, if not, what applies where/how?

Posted By Arran Linton - Smith Having done extensive Health and Safety work for one church diocese, can I assure you that the Health and Safety at Work Act certainly applies to the Church. There has been a lot of research already done on this subject and it is probably worth contacting your diocesan office for guidance. If you are insured through the Ecclesiastical Group, they have also published some very guidance on this subject.
