I'm trying to find information on suppliers of small hand wash basins that can be fitted to Facilities Management operatives vehichles in order to ensure that they are provided with adequate welfare facilities. The operatives are involved in all manner of responsive maintenance tasks and need facilities for washing hands, etc when they are working away from base. The vehichles that they use are mainly the small Vauxhall Corsa type vans.
If anyone has any info or any experience of such items I'd be most grateful for their input.
Cheers
David

David.
When I worked on the tools (some years ago) our vehicles where fitted with stainless steel 'folding' hand basins.
These had water supplied from a small tank that was heated via the vehicle exhaust system, and a push-pump tap. When the sink folded up the water was emptied into another waste tank.
These were fitted when the vehicles were supplied by Whale Tankers who were based in the West Midlands. I would think that call to htem (Ithink they are still in business) may give you a lead...

Deb make a good range of waterless hand cleaners and skin sanitisers for these types of work. You can find them in most of the major supplier catalogues or contact them direct
