I am currently reviewing the provision of guarding of our vehicle inspection pits.
We require a system that is secure in use, quick and easy to fit (if its not our engineers tend not to bother) and does not take up masses of room.
Does anyone know of, or use such a system.
I would appreciate your assistance.

In the past I have seen a rebated edge around the pits and wooden slats used to bridge the gap thus there is no hole.

I seem to think I have seen a modern version of this which is like a roller-shutter door mounted in the pit at one end that then can be used in the same way. Can't remember where though. Try a roller-shutter door company?
