My boss has asked me to go around our construction sites with a fine tooth comb, to see if any issues need to be addressed. Is there anyone out there who uses a check list which covers every possible aspect concernig health and safety on site. If so would you be willing to share it.

Vsit the Rethinking Construction website (http://www.rethinkingconstruction.org/rc/respect/) and click on the Respect for People Toolkits link. You will need to register to obtain the Health & Safety toolkit. This is a very extensive check list for site safety and health safety that can be extended very simply. It also covers a checklist for concept, design and planning.
If you use it I would be interested to know what how you got on with it.

I have just visited this site and find it an excellent starting point for construction safety etc.
