Posted By Gerry Wilson Norman The government has adopted an "off the shelf" real time, Environmental Monitoring System (EMS)with monitoring for all corporate functions and individual site management systems for use in all of it's departments. The ODPM has made this available to local authorities and I assume the private sector. The system uses Entropy International software (Envoy™) and has enabled the ODPM/DfT etc. to rapidly gain ISO 14001 certification on a number of sites within its property portfolio. The system is mudular and also offers modules on quality and H&S to OHSAS 18001. For more details go to www.entropy-international.com Havn't used it myself but it does look very promising.
