Has anyone any information on stroboscopic effect created by the sunlight hitting the rotating blades on turbines?
Any advice or info would be appreciated

No I haven't & it sounds like a bit of a 'wind' up to me put about by the nimby fraternity. But of course, I could be wrong.
It is not a phenomenon I have observed when travelling in areas where wind turbines are present.
However, there may have been reports published by Danish or Dutch colleagues on the net as both countries seem to have invested heavily in this technology and will therefore be aware of any problems should they have arisen.

I was set an assignment on wind turbines when studying last year. There is a plethora of information on the net both academic and 'nimby' with protest groups popping up wherever there is talk of building a wind farm. Make sure that you search not only europe but world wide as there are a lot of studies from North America as well.
Have to say though that Mr. Breeze replying on the subject is about as conclusive as it gets!

Honestly it's not a wind up. There is an office complex near at hand to the turbine and the rotation of the blades thro the sunlight path is creating an effect similar to a stroboscope on the walls of the offices.

However, this latter impact is extremely unlikely and stroboscopic effects are minimised by keeping rotation rates below 50 r.p.m. for three-bladed machines and 75 r.p.m. for two-bladed machines." My proposed solution: knock down the wind turbine & replace it with a coal fired power station, or better still a big Magnox reactor - that'll teach 'em. (I'm gonna have to stop taking these cynical pills). Assuming you don't have control over the turbine, then maybe blinds are the solution.

I don't know much about wind turbines but I had always assumed that rotation speed was linked to frequency of electrical output so would changing the rotation speed be an option?
Re light flicker triggering epilepsy I thought the advice was to avoid frequencies above 5Hz?
Surely the time when the turbine was directly in line with the sun and the office would be fairly short unless its really close?
