Posted By Jayne Freeman Hi,
We are setting up an area to store Liquid Nitrogen for use in the skin clinic. However the PCT's Medical Advisor wants to be able to decant the liquid nitrogen into appropriate dewar flasks and transport them to whichever Doctors Surgery requires the nitrogen to perform skin treatments.
I have advised that this is not acceptable as these flasks must not be transported in car's etc (confined spaces) due to possible leakage and asphyxiation. I was wondering if there are any other PCT's who have addressed this issue and what the outcome is.
