Does anyone out there have a sample Workplace Drugs Policy that I can take a look at?

I can find lots of advice on the net, but actual sample policies seem to be a bit elusive.

It would be helpful if they could be applied to clients as well as employees.

I have been round this loop Jonathan, and will be happy to chat and perhaps provide what I have been shared with in the past year by way of alcohol & drug policies and guidance. It may be possible for some Members to look at several policies and post a 'generic one for others to share also. Perhaps the Healthcare SG may be interested in helping?

The hardest part is getting the board to agree to random testing and rehabilitation, and that begs a good employment contract as well as employee rules.

I have an exemplar policy that my predecessor drew up for schools. There's a lot in it about education issues but you might be able to extract something useful for your workplace - please email if you would like a copy.
