Posted By STEPHEN HOLDEN Does anybody have a copy of the article relating to mobile phones and the changes in legislation, published in SHP August 2003, that they could fax or email me? I have lost my copy of that months magazine. Many thanks email: stephen@shuttle10090.fsnet.co.uk

Posted By Jay Joshi There is comprehensive information in a Department for Transport Document, "Mobile Phones and driving: Decision letter and Summary of Responses" The decision letter has information on the tricky aspects of what is the scope etc--a very useful "letter". The website is:- http://www.dft.gov.uk/st.../dft_rdsafety_508356.pdf

Posted By Sean Fraser Stephen, Cannot find the article that you referred to, either in the August copy or those dating back to June. Do you remember a title or give more of an idea on what it was - a full feature or a small box? Thanks

Posted By Tracey Docking The DTI and ROSPA websites provide useful information. Is anyone else having troube convincing all their Board members to introduce a ban on the use of ALL mobile phones when driving (ie one step further than the law being introduced in Dec which refers to hand-held equipment)? I've given them research, quoted relevant legislation, risk assessments and potential consequences for the company should somebody be injured/killed when using a mobile phone whilst driving for work and waiting for final decision next week. Any advice on how to provide a stronger case would be most appreciated.
