Can anyone tell me why I can find information on the legal obligations on an organisation when someone works from home ie working from home and has a accident in the home whilst working ????

Log on to the DTI website (www.dti.gov.uk)and download a copy of their teleworking guidance which has recently been published. You may find some of the information useful.

The guidance may be on the DTI website but I'm not sure it tells you that much.
It would be interesting to see if IOSH had an input to it, although reading through it I think not.

INDG 226 'Homeworking' free from HSE www or can download from www.limeone.com or 0870 240 4325 who have produced a free 2 page briefing note which is more up to date than the HSE one.
