Can anyone please direct me to a website/supplier of the above equipment. I require a means of preventing unauthorised access up a ladder which is permanently fixed/bolted to an abseil tower.
The "ladder lock" I require should consist of a long [approx 1.5m long, weatherproof & robust/steel] plate which can be laid/hooked upon the lower rungs of the ladder, and then locked in place with padlocks. I am sure I have seen such a product somewhere, possibly on a construction site with scaffold......or was I dreaming ? Please help.

Just an idea, why not remove the bottom section of ladder if it is only used occasionally ie inspections once or twice per year.

We use similar “locks” but had them constructed in our own workshops.

Is that an option for you?
