Sorry for posting yet another query linked to mobile phones. This time it's to do with Radio Frequency (RF)radiation.

Can anyone help on a Safety System of Work for working in the near proximity of a mobile phone mast mounted on top of a building. It's for non-related work undertaken at a lift access area. Some concern by contractor that they could be exposed to harmful levels.

My understanding is that as the alignment of the transmitted signal beam at slightly below the horizontal plane, there will be no significant exposure to someone standing directly below it.

I intend to contact the mast provider for available Radio Frequency wave data (if they have it and hand it over), but has anyone made use of the personal exposure monitors that are available to justify their SSW.
