One for our emergency services colleagues.
When did RTA's (road traffic accident) change to RTC's (road traffic collision)and what was the driving force behind the change. Is there a directive or similar that instigated this? Many thanks

This is political correctness again, to refer to road traffic collisions. However the collision investigators still have to refer to them as RTA's in their statements as this is the legal term.
