Posted By Paul Huber I am trying to find out how H&S is applied to homeworkers in Germany and other European countries. My current information for Germany is that each "workplace" (ie home) has to be inspected for general workplace safety annually and the electrical systems have to be checked every two years. If your company has homeworkers in Germany I would be interested to know how you meet the requirements of German H&S law. I am also informed that in Spain each home would need to be registered as a new workplace and a risk evaluation has to be attached to this registration, does anyone have information how this is managed in your companies. Also if anyone knows of other restrictions or complications on homeworking please let me know. For information the type of work I am concerned with is office work, there are no other types of work being considered for homeworking.
