Dear reader.
I have been looking into injuries on golf courses, and have found out some fanstatic facts that between 10,000-111,025 golfers a year require hospital treatment or are kept in, this claim has been made by two insurance company's via the internet.
Can anybody direct me or provide me with any information on golf clubs that have been procecuted, PLEASE!!!!!

Unless it was the greenkeeper who was injured, I don't think that H&S legislation would come into this (or would your MD claim to be "at work" playing golf with a valued client?).
I suspect many of the "injuries" are self inflicted, eg back strain etc. However, there have been a number of Civil claims pass through the courts over the years, some successful, where one golfer has claimed negligence against another after being struck by a particularly wayward ball.

I have been on 2 golf courses in my life as a child and a young adult.
First experiance resulted in 3 broken teeth as somebody practiced their swing as I walked behind them.
Second time I received a broken ankle as a wayward ball hit my ankle as I was walking on a public footpath
So as a result I have never been back.Give me safer sports like motorcross,skiing and rugby anyday
