Posted By Sophia masuko Can anyone please tell me how they implement this in their organisation or point me in the right direction for where to look. I am trying to put together guidance notes for people in my borough who work outside normal hours. Thanks in advance Sophia

Posted By Ken Taylor The required level of provision will depend upon a number of factors. You will need to assess this by reference to the Approved Code of Practice (L74).

Posted By Dave Dowan Hi Sophia For office based sites as well as the usual compay first aiders our security guards are trained first aiders and this covers for out of hours working. Where we have engineers working either alone, in pairs or in small teams we ensure they have all had Emergency first aid training and supply them with first aid kits and the relevent information on how to contact help. This approach has so far proved effective. Regards Dave
