Posted By Stuart Burton I’ve just been asked to complete a risk assessment for each of three members of staff who have been given permission to work from their homes, subject to a satisfactory risk assessment result. Does anyone out there have experience in this and have any information or risk assessment forms that could assist me. Best wishes Stu …

Posted By Joe McNicholas Stu, I am sure IOSH did a guidance leaflet on 'teleworking' (apparantly that's what it's called). It was a fair guide and gave some things to consider that I would never have thought of in a month of Sundays. If you get no joy with IOSH- e-mail me back and I, will try ti dig out my copy over the weekend (if I've still got it). Regards Joe

Posted By Nick Higginson Stuart This is currently forming part of my MSc project! Look at HSE free leaflet on homeworking and the IOSH document referred to can be found in the technical information section. The DTI leaflet is ok, but doesn't tell you much. The IOSH document (written by Neil Budworth) gives you sample risk assessment forms (organisational and individual). Drop me a line if you have any trouble - I've got all of these electronically. Kind regards Nick
