I am interested in obtaining information to enable me to compare my company SHE (Safety and Env) performance to other companies and industries. I know that there is information provided by HSE etc on accident rates but I wonder whether there is any similar information available that compares things such as "cost of safety versus annual turnover" or similar.
Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

your trade body should be able to help you, ours benchmarks against size, turnover etc.

Peter,
For information on safety in the offshore oil and gas industry, take a wander through the Step Change website.
Couldn't find anything specific on benchmarking but you will find facts and figures scattered throughout.
