Here's one for the Town Halls. Our little school is keen to set up a walking bus team to see primary school children safely to and from the premises. What level of clearance will the parents and other helpers involved need to take part?

You could try asking Sustrans (0117 915 0100) or RoSPA (0121 248 2000) for the latest guidance on this. I suspect that the position may be different if the school runs the scheme than if the parents organise it themselves.
