I wouldn't go for shock tactics (well maybe some) I would concentrate more on the benefits a good health and safety managemnt structure will bring to the business. Posted By Jim Mc Nally Ricky I don't think shock is the word but rather make them aware of what their responsibilities are. In our management training course, I highlight and give the attendees a number of case studies which clearly illustrate what their responsibilities are in law. I was amazed that when I started training managers a number of them had not known anything about what they are required to do in law, and I found that by giving plenty of good examples of prosecutions etc it illustrates this point effectively and makes them sit up and take notice.
