Posted By Martin Taylor We are looking to engage a new supplier for supply of relatively small quantities of flammable and highly flammables materials for our painting area. Where might I find advise on their requirements in terms of Carriage of Dangerous Goods and if there is a threshold quantity that defines when the relevant regs apply.

Posted By Tony Overbury Martin The HSE website has a couple of resources that might help. INDD234 (www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg234.pdf) is useful, and the website also has a mini site devoted to the carriage of dangerous goods (www.hse.gov.uk/spd/cdg/sitemap.htm). Other than that I'm afraid that it's down to the regulations themselves. Tony
