Posted By Martyn Hilditch I am seeking as to whether there is a standard template (Risk Assessment) that exists for power washing of block paving etc (or any guidance). In addition, the process also involves the sanitising of horse stables. Thanks in advance.

Posted By Steve Appleton Even the jet-washers designed for domestic use are hazardous. I've seen the evidence of one accident when a guy placed his thumb over the end to direct the water better - only to find the water took a large chunk of flesh from his thumb. Also water can penetrate the skin at pressures over 100psi (which in terms of jet-washers) is very low Useful info can be found at the Water Jetting Association's web site http://www.waterjetting.org.uk/health_safety.html
