Posted By Robert S Woods Can anyone suggest a decent manual handling video? I have looked at a few and they've been at best terrible. All the emphasis was put on the employee to lift safely rather than providing examples of good lifting practice.

Posted By Fiona Cowan Robert The Centre for Learning and Technology have developed a super on-line resource based on "The Green Book" - moving and handling bible for the care professions. Access materials and videos including some in out of work situation/applications via www.lifesign.ac.ukI would think it is available for purchase but not sure. Physicare have some good video resoucres too but primarily aimed at moving/assisting people. Regards Fiona

Posted By Lee Hodgson Hello Robert, This may be a bit late for you but I thought I'd respond anyway (it may help for future reference). Centaur Training have been providing manual handling training packs for the best part of 10 years. They are used right across the healthcare sector from nursing homes to private hospitals etc. For more information e mail training@centaur-training.co.uk. Regards, Lee.
