Posted By Thomas, Andrew Increasingly I am finding that I am exposed to this topic. Having tackled it 4+ years ago at diploma and on an IOSH course, I feel I could do with a refresher. Can anyone provide a website or publication that would give me a good grounding and a bit more on FMEA and FTA particularly? Andy Thomas

Posted By John Allen Try http://www.hse.gov.uk/offshore/circulars/enf38.htm "Guidance on ALARP for Offshore Division Inspectors - Making an ALARP demonstration", for a good short summary. It also summarises the HSE's reservations on the use of QRA.
