Posted By Mark W Stapley Can anyone help; the question is simply this: How does the Data Protection Act relate to DSE Regulations, Manual Handling Regulations, Pregnant Employee, Young Person, etc. specifically with regard to holding and 'sharing' information contained within an assessment conducted on a 'user'?

Posted By David Sinclair Mark, There is no direct corrolation between the Data Protection Act and health and safety legislation. The Data Protection Act may however affect how you store and use health and safety data gathered in compliance with legislation, i.e. how you store and use the "personal" elements of that data. Hope this helps. Regards. David
