The scenario....an employee on a day off brings a young dog into the foyer of the offices so that another employee can meet the animal. A Director of the company who is a dog-lover wants to pet the dog but is warned by the owner that the animal does not like men. He ignores the advice and insists on trying to touch the animal. He draws away past the owner and the dog nips him on the hip. He brushes the incident off but the next day has a tetunus jab as the animals teeth punctured his skin.

An entry in the accident book is required but perhaps also a policy about dogs and also children/relatives being brought onto a companies premises???

Any comments welcome....esp. on the possibility of a claim for damages.

The dog should be reported for sexual discrimination, taken by the lead and be on a bonio restriction for two hours
