I remember seeing a thread regarding space between desks but cannot seem to find anything when searching the forum. Can anyone please direct me to some guidance on minimum distances between desks.
Many thanks
Leon

Guidance on occupational space requirements can be found in "The Journal Metric Handbook" produced by the Royal Institute of British Architects. This document forms the basis for standards applied by architects in the UK.
Examples include: chair space - from desk edge nearest to occupant to ensure adequate chair space = 900mm; for two employees back to back = 1800mm.
Aisle widths - ranging from 750mm for "minor" offices to 1500mm for "major" offices.
There are also recommended measurements for filing cabinets, shelving, etc.
