I am after any information on the legal requirements on air flow for buildings open to the public, both smoking & non smoking.
I'm aware that there is a section in the Building Regs but I was hoping there may be someone who might have had some experience with this problem

Mark,
If you have access to TI or Barbour have a look at the guidance published by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE)
They may not be “Legal Guidance” but can be regarded as “Good Practice”
They do also have a website www.cibse.org
