Could anyone out there let me know of potential award ceremonies that we can submit H&S best practice examples to.
I know there is the European Week of Safety and Health Good Practice Awards run by the HSE but I was thinking more in the Construction industry itself.
Would also be grateful if you do have any suggestions if you could let me know where I could get further details.

The one we go for is the RoSPA Awards, full details on their website.
We are in the oil and gas sector and we go for this one because a large proportion of our customer base buy into it.
On the rospa web site, you can view the list of this years winners. Are your customers there? Are your competitors there? Our insurance company quite like it too, so it is a bit more than a certificate on the wall.

Sound advice about ROSPA awards, also may be worth your while to look at the Beaumont Safety Award presented annually by the Construction Health and Safety Group in Chertsey. Would also be useful to become a member, they have low join up fees (about £50), monthly safety meetings and [reference removed]s, seminars, etc. I was a company member for the past 5 years and recommend it. I have not got a phone number but they are based at the John Ryder Training Centre in Chertsey.
