We have just installed window film to reduce heat gain and glare in our office areas. Several staff are complaining of headaches and blurred vision. Has anyone had any similar experiences with this material??

"Any other problems"!? you ask... Historically, in the darker months of the year, the film has to be removed due to the reduction in natural lighting... Blinds are more expensive, but far more practical.
I hope this sheds some light on your problem?
(I just had to, sorry!)

Has the fitting of the film increased the ammount of artificial light required?
If they are VDU users is the background (Behind the screen) darker than usual, increasing the contrast of the screen to background?
If so, it could be linked to that.

While the last two suggestions are reasonable, why don't you go round the workplace with a light meter. It is likely that the lux level has decreased. Another thing to consider is the the lamp burn temperature (colour), the lamps may be natural day light (colour83) but appear glary, so you may consider a warm white colour render (colour 82)
