I note that in this months SHP - September 2004 - that the IOSH logo is on two particular advertisements, pages 61 and 85.

I'm not certain but I believe that IOSH do not normally support and recommend specific training/commercial organisations, or has this policy now changed? So..... is this a misuse of the logo and if so what is SHP's role and understanding of the use of the IOSH logo.

Regards
Simon

Interesting one this Simon. The IOSH logo can be used when attached to delivery of the IOSH courses (Managing/Working Safely etc) but not in any other context. So the advertisment on page 61 is OK but that on page 85 is not as it appears to be referring to an NVQ level 4 programme which is in fact a City and Guilds qualification not an IOSH one (although it does give the entry qualification requirement part of IOSH membership). I will be following this up, thanks for alerting me to it.
