Posted By Neil Batty Can anyone suggest a good video to be used in conjunction with a training session on Accident Investigation. Ideally I'd like something that shows an accident simulation (or real!) that can be discussed as to its cause and effects - and then shows what really happened afterwards.

Posted By Paul Craythorne Many moons ago I was given a free copy of 'You Always Do Your Best' produced by Powergen. I use this in my accident investigation training courses. I don't know whether they still have it in their library but it may be worth contacting them. Regards, Paul Craythorne

Posted By Pat Hannaway Neil, I have delivered approx. 40 accident investigation courses over the last two years. I fully agree with Matin's suggestion about the Reaction into Action video. It is very good. Deals with the legal, humane and economic consequences of accidents. Shows a vehicle accident in a factory location and take you through the various stages of the accident investigation, primary and root causes etc. The video has been given an average rating of four out of five by the majority of staff attending the training course.
