Posted By Dave Wynn I have always understood that photocopiers produce "nasties" and that this is part of the reason that they are generally located in a small room alone. Do we have evidence that they actually produce O zone & other undesirable substances which may be harmful to health? Any information gratefully accepted, Dave.

Posted By RP I found that the user manual and safety booklet which came with ours very useful. It does highlight health and safety issues, including siting in a well ventilated room. One maual suggested that the fumes produced can be harmful in concentration and long runs of copying should be split to allow fumes to dissapate

Posted By Fiona Potter Hi Dave WE used a drager tube and pump to check the ozone levels. They give an outline if there is a problem. Often the dryness of the air, noise, location usually in a small cupboard can also add to discomfort
