I am currently trying to develop a Health & Safety action plan for my company. This is the only company I have worked for in a health and safety capacity and I am finding it difficult to gather information on this subject. It would be much appreciated if anyone had any experience to pass on to myself in devolping a Health & Safety action plan.

Get a copy of HSG65 (succesful health & safety managemnt). Chapter four (Planning and implementing) may answer your question.

As Paul Points out HS(G)65 is essential reading. Action Points you could include in action plan could include Policy, management responsibilities, training and compatency, consultation and communication, risk management, incident reporting, OH monitoring, management of contractors, performance monitoring, compliance with current legislation and also requirments of recent or imminent legislation.
