Hi All
Want to do the NEBOSH cert - been quoted various prices from £700 to £2.5k for non-residential, anyone know what's a fair price that I should be paying for a one day per week for 12 week course?

i did the certificate at Newark and Sherwood college notts in 2002. It cost about 700 for two hours once a week. the exam was extra.

a lot will depend on your location and how far you can travel etc.
i did NEBOSH cert at South Tyneside a few years ago for just over £300. not sure of exact price now but still well under £700.
Try local colleges etc instead of private companies. a full list of course providers is on the NEBOSH website.

The price depends a lot on where in the country you are - up North it is possible to get the course for about £300. Out here in the West Bristol City College have day release for £495, Swindon charge £700 all in.
If you consider distance learning courses cost around £400 - £650, I think that, for day release, anything less than £600, with the exam being charged extra at £63, is a very fair price.
