Posted By fats van den raad Tom From experience of using these machines in my dim and distant past when I was an apprentice, I can categorically say that it is not the type of machine I would like to see my missus operate if she was pregnant. The machines take some effort to control and as such the operator can be liable to physical stress, strain, etc. Apart from that there is the issue of standing on your feet for extended periods of time, and the resultant pressures on the back etc. My advice would be to get the lady some less demanding and more suitable job while she is pregnant.
