Posted By Neil Pearson This is covered in UK by Reg 14 of the Management of H&S at Work Regs 1999. Someone else will have to jump in and remind us which EC Directive these Regs implemented. That will be your answer, I think.

Posted By Nicholas Ross-Clunis Cyprus is now fully harmonised with the EU. Under the Cyprus Health and Safety Law: 1)An employee is obliged to report any unsafe conditions that he sees to his employer and or the HS advisor. 2)Breaking the law in a criminal offence and - depending of course on the seriousness - can be punished with up to 10,000 Cyprus Pounds fine and or up to 2 years imprisonment. Try the Cyprus Factory inspectors web site for the unofficial English translations: http://www.mlsi.gov.cy/m...dmlindex_en?OpenDocument Regards Nicholas
